Why did we buy Intel ? Why did people think it bottomed yesterday? The answer is that nobody thought it bottomed until it went unchanged, and then a combination of ETF-buying and sucker-buying took the stock up. I am adamant that there is no reason to own the stock except the dividend, and while that is a powerful reason, longer term we have to accept that it would be better to wait until we are closer to a turn in the business -- it just turned down -- and closer to more competition from AMD -- it just ramped up -- so why not wait until 5%? That's my suggestion. That and to ignore the ETF-buying that lifts all boats. That's just plain preposterous. At the time of publication, Cramer had no positions in the stocks mentioned.
