With oil down $3, you should be able to make a terrific case for so many companies. Weak dollar. Weak fuel. Raising numbers everyone!
Of course, that's not how it works. It is only how it should work. If you listen, for example, to Carnival, you know that the company saved $211 million, or 26 cents per share, because of declining fuel costs, 39% lower year over year. General Mills was crushed last year by fuel costs, and nobody seemed to factor them in much. They need to stay low.
Or take one more that I have been aggressively favoring: Kimberly-Clark. Here's one you should like on a weak dollar, where they are head to head against local products that might be more expensive vs. a cheapened-dollar product.
