Natural gas isn't going down, just the stocks. It is amazing how out of sync the group is vs. the commodity, and yet there hasn't been an ounce of consolidation in the group. Devon thinks its stock is cheap, and Anadarko doesn't want to use its currency. Encana won't do its split into two companies, and other than BP , nobody seems to want Chesapeake's assets.
Nat gas isn't like crude. It isn't collapsing, and it isn't being used less. It is totally resilient; it's only the stocks that aren't resilient.
To me, the commodity's inability to go down during the period when it was warm, coupled with the fact that we are already well into a chilly...
