Verizon is slated to report earnings before the market opens Monday with a conference call scheduled for 8:30 a.m. EDT. Current projections call for the company to post EPS of 59 cents on total revenue of $26.3 billion. The stock has bounced with the broader market over the past two months but has not really demonstrated any leadership. Using AT&T's results as my guidance, I would expect an in-line quarter with a slight bias to an upside surprise but nothing too bullish on the outlook. On the wireless side, look for more subscriber adds as AT&T and Verizon continue to gain market share from the tier 2 and tier 3 players.
