An Odd Mix of Action By Rev Shark About this article: The market is being held up by some strong action in a few big-caps, namely Google, MasterCard, Baidu.com, Amazon, Visa, Goldman Sachs, First Solar, Research In Motion, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo. There is also some strength in a variety of retail names, such as Costco, Talbots, Wolverine World Wide and Brown Shoe. It is an odd mix of action today, but as long as we are holding here with only minor losses, I believe it is positive action. The bears will argue that this is a slowing of momentum since we didn't immediately follow through as we have so often in the past several months, but at this point, it looks more like some healthy consolidation.
