I was asked by a reader if I was buying anything at all right now. Since my market outlook was bearish, he asked, why did I keep presenting stock ideas? It's a great question and one I have gotten before, so I'll address it here. I have not bought a lot of stock in the past few months, but I have stumbled on a few micro-caps that trade for less than cash, and that kind of stock I buy no matter what my market outlook is. I have done a few liquidation arbitrages that were also too small to write about, but for the most part, I have stood pat for some time now.
